The Garden of the Sky is located outside the main entrance of the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice building and features a beautiful plaza surrounded by gardens. Just to the north of the building is the 9/11 Memorial. The 3,000 glass plaques surround a fountain in the center, and etched in the plaques are the names and home towns of those who died on September 11, 2001.
