This natural grass field, which covers more than 10,000 square yards, serves as a practice site for many of Babson's varsity teams, including field hockey, men's and women's lacrosse, and men's and women's soccer. The field is named after men's soccer alumnus Erik "Izzy" Isbrandtsen '94, who died in the tragic World Trade Center attacks of September 11, 2001. In addition to Babson's varsity teams, other members of the Babson community, including club and intramural teams, play on Isbrandtsen Field.
The Isbrandtsen Field also is the location for many major events for the College, including Commencement, Alumni Weekend, and the inauguration of Babson's presidents.
