Formerly the women’s gymnasium and once serving as the chapel, the Theater Building is home to the
Theater Department.
The building contains two major performance spaces: Kelsey Theater, named in honor of Elizabeth Walsingham Kelsey, who was director of dramatics for more than three decades; and the smaller Haugen Theater, named in honor of former Professor of Theater Ralph A. Haugen.
