    1. Manchester Hall

      Manchester Hall houses the Offices of Graduate and Undergraduate Admission and the Career Development Center. 

    2. Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science

      USD's School of Nursing and Health Science is ranked in the top 10% of Graduate Programs in Nursing. Hahn School of Nursing offers post-RN and graduate nursing programs. 

       

    3. Hughes Administration Center

      This building is home to the President’s and Provost’s Offices, the Student Employment Office and Financial Aid Services. Student Accounts, the Cashier’s Office, Finance and Loan Administration, and the Public Safety Office are also located in Hughes. 

    4. Saints Tekakwitha and Serra Hall

      This three-story building houses the Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Math and Computer Science Departments. Also located in this building are the Disability and Learning Difference Resource Center, International Center & Study Abroad Office, Math Tutoring Center, and computer labs. 

    5. Guadalupe Hall

      This building is currently occupied by various administrative offices, including Institutional Research and Law School offices. 

    6. Warren Hall

      Warren Hall houses the USD School of Law, which was founded in 1954 as the first professional school on our campus. USD’s School of Law is accredited by the American Bar Association. It is also a member of the Association of American Law Schools and

      The Order of the Coif, the most distinguished rank of American law schools. 

    7. Belanich Engineering Center

      This three-story building houses the Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering. Ranked top 20 in the nation, our programs include Electrical, Industrial & Systems, Mechanical and General Engineering. Students graduate with a dual degree when they complete any of the engineering majors. 

    8. Pardee Legal Research Center

      The LRC is the Graduate Law Library. Both undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to utilize this facility, which is regarded as one of the best law libraries in the country. 

    9. Degheri Alumni Center

      The Alumni Center houses the offices of Alumni Relations, Parent Relations and University Publications. This three-story building features an open air center courtyard and rear patio, a conference center, and living room equipped with yearbooks, photographs, and a fireplace. 

    10. Student Life Pavilion

      A hub of student activity, the Student Life Pavilion houses Pavilion Dining, which is composed of 12 dining options as well as Tu Mercado, an organic grocery store. The offices for many of the student organizations and clubs are also located here. 

    11. USD Torero Store

      More than just a place to buy textbooks, the Torero Store provides apparel, technology access, gifts, books, special services such as home décor, moving & storage and TV rentals to our alumni, current and future Toreros. 

    12. Hahn University Center

      The University Center, more commonly known as the “UC,” houses many key student spaces, eateries and offices, such as: Outdoor Adventures, the Black Student Resource Center, the One Stop Student Center, Frank’s Lounge, and Campus Card Services. 

    13. Bishop Leo T. Maher Hall

      This five-story building houses the Theology and Religious Studies Department, University Ministry, the Media Center, the Student Health Center, and our award-winning coffee house, Aromas. The top three floors of this building are first-year residence halls for both men and women. Maher Hall is the only first-year residence hall that offers students private bathrooms. Behind Maher Hall is the Mail Center, where students can pick up packages or letters. 

    14. The Immaculata Church

      This Roman Catholic Church serves the community of San Diego as well as the USD community. Students are not required to attend mass. However, there are special campus-wide services held throughout the school year that students may choose to attend. 

    15. Founders Hall

      Founders Hall houses the Foreign Language, Philosophy, and English Departments. This building is also home to the College of Arts and Sciences, the Logic Tutoring Center, English Writing Center, the Office of the Registrar, and Founders Chapel. The second floor of Founders is home to nearly 150 first-year women. Founders Hall (along with Camino Hall) was the very first building constructed on Alcalá Park. 

    16. Sacred Heart Hall

      The headquarters for the San Diego NROTC is located here. The Studio Theatre is home to the Master of Fine Arts program as well as undergraduate theatre performances. 

    17. Camino Hall

      This building houses the Communication Studies, Theater Arts, Music, and Art, Architecture & Art History departments. Also located in this building is Shiley Theatre. Approximately 150 first-year male residents live on the second floor. 

    18. Copley Library

      The library contains over 500,000 books and subscribes to approximately 2,200 journals – which can be accessed through the school’s website. The library uses a state-of-the-art computer system called San Diego Circuit, which lists all books and materials available on campus and accessible through other local colleges and universities. 

    19. School of Leadership and Education Sciences

      The School of Leadership and Education Sciences (SOLES) has nearly 1,000 students at the undergraduate, masters and doctoral levels. The SOLES programs are accredited by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC), the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE) and the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). 

    20. The Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice

      This building, also known as the “IPJ,” is home to the departments of Political Science, History and International Relations. Also located in this building is the La Paloma dining facility, luxury apartments for long term housing of world leaders and visiting professors, a 300-seat auditorium, numerous conference rooms, a production studio, art galleries, and a 250-space underground parking structure. The front fountain area of the IPJ is known as the Garden of the Sky, while the back (featuring a reflection room and reflection pool) is referred to as the Garden of the Sea, overlooking Mission Bay. 

    21. Donald P. Shiley Center for Science and Technology

      This state-of-the-art facility houses the departments of Biology, Chemistry & Biochemistry, Physics and Marine Science & Environmental Studies. The center is equipped with a multitude of working classrooms, 30 teaching and research laboratories, a greenhouse, aquariums, a hydrodynamics lab, a nuclear magnetic resonance lab, an astronomy deck and much more. 

    22. Olin Hall

      Olin Hall is home to our School of Business, which includes the Ahlers Center for International Business and the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate. Ranked top 50 in the nation, business administration is USD’s most popular major.
