    5. Food Pantry

Perhaps one of the lesser known initiatives creating social change at USD are the two food pantries we have across campus. These pantries provide food for students facing food insecurity and now we also have a "closet" of professional attire made available for students who need to attend work and internship interviews.
    6. Changemaker Challenge

The Changemaker Challenge allows teams who have developed a method to address homelessness to apply for funding and turn their idea into reality.
    7. The Hive

The Hive is a design-thinking program that helps students address root issues to systemic problems, as opposed to applying band-aid solutions. Through the Hive, students are given assistance in identifying an issue they are passionate about, and developing a method to address it.
    8. Alliance of Disability Advocates

The purpose of Alliance of Disability Advocates is to foster an inclusive and safe environment for people with disabilities and allies without disabilities. We support advocating for people with disabilities and initiating action to increase the accessibility on the University of San Diego’s campus. Our mission is to create a brave space for people with disabilities and to uplift their voices and experiences on campus.

    9. Beyond Borders

The Beyond Borders team is composed of a group of students who create immersive experiences with neighbors on both sides of the border. They shed light on the challenges, opportunities and unspoken narratives of border communities.
    10. Pancakes Serving Up Hope

Pancakes Serving Up Hope (PSUH), an initiative to build relationships through food with the homeless population in Downtown San Diego. PSUH serves as a platform for people who are looking for volunteer opportunities and resource agencies that assist those who are in need.
    11. Engineering Exchange for Social Justice

The Engineering Exchange for Social Justice (ExSJ) supports the connection between engineering and social justice. Engineers have the potential to provide knowledge and skills where it matters most, to co-create just and ecologically sustainable socio-technical solutions.
    12. There is More Podcast

There's More is a campus storytelling initiative that is supported through collaboration between the College of Arts & Sciences, Humanities Center, and Changemaker Hub. Episodes are created by USD students in a podcasting class and reedited by a team of student producers hired by There’s More faculty producers. Students collect diverse stories about how USD community members pursue a purpose-filled life by confronting humanity's urgent challenges. The series highlights USD's liberal arts tradition by exploring the human condition through the practice of changemaking.
    13. Career Impact Fair

The Career Impact Fair is a student organized event that allows students from all over campus to meet local companies that are looking to make a real impact on the world we live in.
