    1. Gooch Hall

      Gooch Hall was constructed in 1972 and is named for Cecil M. and Boyce A. Gooch, major gift scholarship donors to the university.

       

      Academic units housed in Gooch Hall include the College of Education, Health, and Behavioral Sciences (Department of Educational Studies, Department of Nursing, and Office of Interdisciplinary Studies) and the departments of communications and family and consumer sciences. The building is also home to the Center for Global Studies and International Education and English Program and International Admissions, as well as the Office of Extended Campus and Online Studies.

       

      The Gallien Auditorium, named in honor of Dr. Glenn S. Gallien, dean and professor of education from 1952-1981, seats 182 and is off the main lobby of the building.
