2309 BRENNER AVENUE
The Stanback Plaza, located at the front of the Cannon Student Center, is one of Catawba's outdoor spaces where special and seasonal events take place. The area features a courtyard that is commonly used for student gatherings and breaks, outdoor classes, and socializing.
In March 2017, Hedrick Terrace was added adjacent to Stanback Plaza, extending the area towards Hedrick Admin. Building and serving as a gathering place for students, faculty, and staff.
Stanback Plaza is named in memory of Fred J. Stanback, Sr., of Salisbury, a former Catawba trustee and benefactor.
