Blue 51 is located in the Cannon Student Center and includes the Timeout Grill, Bowl Life, The Coop at Cannon (coming Spring 2024), Campus Coffee & Tea Co. It is a popular place for students to hang out and enjoy some great food and snack items, including Starbucks products.
Blue 51, named in homage to Catawba College’s founding in 1851 and the success of the College’s athletics program, is a space designed to meet the needs of our students, faculty, and staff.
Bowl Life, open for lunch and dinner, offers made-to-order grain or salad bowls that are crafted and customizable with your favorite fresh ingredients. Guests can try one of our four signature bowls - the Carolina, Tex-Mex, Asian, and Vegan - or they can craft their own rice or salad bowl. With options including four proteins, 13 toppings, and six sauces to choose from, the combinations are endless.
The Coop at Cannon features items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late night, such as the Original Chicken Sandwich and Tenders, Egg and Cheese Biscuit, our Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, Garlic Parmesan Fries and Sweet Potato Fries, just to name a few! It will also feature a rotation of Limited Time Offers throughout the year.
The Timeout Grill cooks up made-to-order burgers and other grill favorites, while the Campus Coffee & Tea Co. makes your favorite hand-crafted Starbucks beverages in a prime location in the Cannon Student Center.
Students can dine here TAX FREE using their Dining Flex Dollars.
