    1. Sicilian Court

      Between Balch Hall and Denison Library is the Sicilian Courtyard. This area was named for a 16th century Italian limestone wellhead that was thought to be from Sicily. That wellhead,is in fact from Florence. Sicilian Court, along with the Iris Court to the west, was given in the 1930s by Mrs. William Honnold, an Honorary Alumna.
