For vocalists and instrumentalists alike, Valencia offers an A.A. pre-major in music performance where students can build their repertoire, improve their craft and prepare to transfer to a four-year school to receive a bachelor?s degree in music. Spending the first two years at Valencia provides music students with more opportunities for solo work and conducting than at many four-year schools where upperclassmen often get primary roles. Valencia?s music resources include instrumental and choir rehearsal halls, a listening library, a MIDI/electronic piano lab and a 499-seat performance hall.
