    1. Schlegel Centre for Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation

Laurier has noted the growing role that entrepreneurs play in today's economy, and has created this centre to foster the growth of students' entrepreneurial endeavours. The centre works to support the course content that is being taught in the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics, support entrepreneurs, give Laurier students an opportunity to work in the entrepreneurial community and see their entrepreneurial ventures come to life. As students look to start their own businesses, this is a great start. The support services required to get a business off of the ground are available through a variety of programming the centre offers.

New social space provides students with an opportunity to work in a social study environment. Whether it is students working on group projects, waiting between classes, or just doing quiet study, this area is a hub of activity in the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics.

Students from any faculty are welcome to use this study area and may find it convenient depending on their residence placement. Electrical plugs and wireless access make using laptops simple and handy when completing assignments.
