    1. Fred Nichols Campus Centre (FN)

      This building is home to the Students' Union and is a hub of activity on campus. It is owned by the students and provides a place to house many of the amazing social and volunteer opportunities that Laurier offers.

       

      The Fred Nichols Campus Centre is home to many student favourites at Laurier, including the 24 Lounge, Wilf’s Restaurant & Bar, the Bookstore, One Card Office, the Hub, the Computer Lab, and the Terrace.

       

      The Student’s Union:

      You want to start an event, spark a movement, or change a nation? We’re going to give you the tools to do it.

       

      The Students’ Union gives you the opportunity to take your university experience outside of the classroom. We head over 300 clubs and volunteer committees, work to represent your interests to the University as well as the Provincial and Federal Governments. The Union is a great way to get involved, either by joining a club, attending event, using a service like Food Bank or Foot patrol, or volunteering.

       

      You can start small or dive right in, we’ll be here to help every step of the way.

       

      The 24-Lounge:

      Located on the second floor of the Fred Nichols Campus Centre, the 24-hour lounge is equipped with computers, quiet study space, and group study rooms. If vending machines aren’t enough to tie you over, the lounge is conveniently located right above Wilf’s and the Terrace Food Court.

       

      The Bookstore:

      The Laurier Bookstore is a full service retail operation offering course materials, Laurier clothing and gifts, computer equipment, accessories and repairs, school supplies and general books. Interested in showing your school spirit? Our special order clothing service can customize any residence floor wear, student club or special occasion.

       

      One Card Office:

      On the Waterloo campus, the OneCard office is located in Arts building in the lower concourse near the Bookstore. The OneCard is your multipurpose student photo identification card. It’s one of the most important pieces of identification you will have while at Laurier.

      TechShop/Hub:

      Get outfitted with the latest technology by visiting the TechShop location inside the Laurier Bookstore. This location offers all the popular high-tech brands. Does your computer need a tune-up? Our convenient on campus location has a reliable and an affordable repair service.

      Terrace Food Court:

      The Terrace Food Court is located in the base of the Fred Nichols Campus Centre and has a wide variety of quick meal options to choose from. Whether you are seeking healthy options, grab and go or fast food the choices are plentiful!

      U-Desk

      The Students' Union U-Desk is a concierge-type service run by students for students. It provides many campus services, including being the main point of contact for the undergraduate health and dental plans, event ticket sales, and Tech Share Program.

        Wilf's Restaurant & Bar:

      Wilf’s is Laurier’s on-campus restaurant & bar located on the 2nd floor of the Fred Nichols Campus Centre. Staffed by a great team of students, Wilf’s is a full service restaurant serving the entire Laurier community, from first years to graduate students, faculty, staff and everyone in between Wilf’s has the best atmosphere on campus!  

       

      Open 7 days a week from 11AM until late into the night, Wilf’s hosts some of Laurier’s favourite nights including Open Mic on Mondays and Trivia on Wednesdays.   

       

      Wilf’s large menu is complemented by great weekly food specials and monthly features. Offering a huge selection of gluten free, vegetarian, and halal options Wilf’s aims to deliver a quality dining experience to everyone at Laurier.
