    1. April Zorn Memorial Stadium

The longtime home of the Fighting Scots got a $4.6 million new stadium in 2008 making it one of the best venues around for football and track and field. The work included adding a single level press box, synthetic field turf, lights and a video scoreboard with instant replay.

Since 2005, the Scots football team has claimed four conference titles, earning berths in the NCAA playoffs each year. The stadium played host to three NCAA Tournament games shortly after its upgrade.

Track takes center stage in the spring when the eight-lane, 400-meter track comes to life. Separate hammer throw and javelin areas were constructed to the west of the stadium. The large video display board gives fans real time results of the day’s races. The track and field team has produced at least one All-American every year since 1984, including nine national champions.

Men’s and women’s varsity Lacrosse will be added to the spring agenda for the stadium in 2017.

When it’s time for students to hit the books, it’s a short sprint to The Hewes Library located just outside the stadium’s main gate.
