Here in the Moot Board Room, students who study Business, International Business, Accounting, and Economics learn not only the specifics of their industries, but also are inspired by faculty members to develop critical thinking skills that will result in faster and more sustained advancement in their careers. Monmouth students also get off to a good start after graduation due to the 99% placement rate in jobs or graduate school within six months of graduation.
Students from across the college including those involved in Pre-law also use this room to hewn their skills at argument and debate. With the county courthouse just a few blocks away, judges and attorneys often participate in educational Moot Court proceedings here.
Attesting to the strength of the Monmouth Accounting major, since the year 2000, fourth-year students have always had an average score that places the program in the top 5% to top 25% of The Master Field Test in Business.
