    1. Peacock Memorial Athletic Park: Soccer Fields

Situated inside Peacock Memorial Athletic Park, the Monmouth College Soccer Complex boasts two game-quality fields. The fields were constructed as part of a $1.3 million project that included construction of baseball’s Glasgow Field to the west.

Student-athletes will be hard pressed to find a better natural grass surface anywhere in the Midwest. The carpet-like grass is meticulously manicured by a staff supervised by a retired golf course superintendent who brings that attention to detail to the soccer pitch.

The field isn’t the only thing getting rave reviews at the complex. The Scots have earned four All-Region honors since 2011.

Fans taking a break at halftime or between games might choose to tour the college’s 16.5 acre LeSuer Nature Preserve and Biology Field Station by taking the hiking trail located just to the south of the soccer fields. Also, to the north, is the verdant and tree-studded Gibson Woods golf course, home to Monmouth College golf.
