Poling Hall: Second Floor Lobby
The college’s approachable and caring professors are a highlight of student experience at Monmouth. Over 85% earned the Ph.D. or other terminal degree and have substantial real-world experience which aids in their teaching. With degrees from a wide number of universities including The University of Chicago, Northwestern, Stanford, and Princeton, the close relationships students build with their professors serve them well at college and into their working careers.
Here, on the second floor of Poling Hall, the Teaching and Learning Center further augments the learning experience by offering additional individualized tutoring assistance to all students. Also located on this floor is the Registrar and a large meeting room where guest speakers often present on a variety of topics including new findings in history, archaeology and political science.
