         Materials: marble

          

         Williams College Museum of Art. Gift of the Estate of Elizabeth I.R. Viall.

          

         Situated outside of the Oakley Center for the Humanities, this artesian well is attributed to a 13^th century Venetian carver. It is made of marble and adorned with botanical motifs and decorative carvings.
