A new 2 port charging station has now been added in the Wellness Center parking lot! This is a ChargePoint unit like the dual port charger in the Suntrust Garage, and is free to charge using your ChargePoint account. However, an idle fee is set at this location with a 2 hour grace period once your charging session has ending. This gives you time to move your charged vehicle, after the grace period a $1/hour idle fee (max $10 fee per session) will be assessed. This is done to encourage people not to block EV spaces when not actively charging, and it is the same fee structure we currently use at the Suntrust Garage location.
Students may use the charger, but ONLY while charging. Also, once your vehicle finishes charging, you must remove your vehicle from this lot.
So, for overnight charging you will need to use one of the charger locations in the Rollins Garage or the Suntrust Garage.
