1. Christmas Trees of UP

   The University of Portland campus is decked out for the holidays. Take a tour of the Christmas trees around campus. Which is your favorite?

   Stops

   1. Dundon-Berchtold Quad Christmas Tree

      We start our tour of University of Portland's Christmas trees with the BIG tree in Dundon-Berchtold Quad. This tree is lit up 24/7 during the holiday season. 

   2. Admissions Office Christmas Tree

      Step out of the elevator on the second floor of Waldschmidt Hall and you'll see the Office of Admissions' Christmas tree—a festive holiday greeting for prospective students and their families. The tree is decked with red, blue, and gold ornaments.

   3. Student Affairs Christmas Tree

      Just down the hall from the admissions office, the Office of Student Affairs has its own tree to welcome visitors. 

   4. Marketing & Communications Christmas Tree

      It's not the official Christmas tree of the University of Portland, but the marketing and communications office does boast the official Christmas tree of The Bluffoons Christmas special. Watch the special for holiday decorating and baking tips from your favorite campus improv club as well as a special holiday story read by University Provost Tom Greene. 

   5. Christie Hall Christmas Tree

      The Gentlemen of Christie are in the holiday spirit with this tree near the entrance of Christie Hall!

   6. Kenna Hall Christmas Tree

      The Kenna Hall Christmas tree shows how "Kennadians" decorate for the holidays.

   7. Shipstad Hall Christmas Tree

      Shipstad's Christmas tree brightens the first floor lounge in the residence hall. 

   8. Clark Library Christmas Tree

      The Christmas tree in Clark Library boasts a glowing star tree topper; it's a welcome distraction for studying students.

   9. Shepard Academic Resource Center Christmas Tree

      The Shepard Academic Resource Center has the only Christmas tree on campus that is topped with a Santa hat. What a creative way to top a tree!

   10. Biology Department Christmas Tree

       This tree in the biology office in Swindells Hall might be small, but it sure is bright!

   11. Moreau Center & Campus Ministry Christmas Tree

       This beautiful and tall tree is the centerpiece of the lobby of the Campus Ministry and Moreau Center for Service and Justice offices.

   12. Bauccio Commons Christmas Tree

       The University Singers pause in front of the Bauccio Commons Christmas tree during their caroling around campus. 

   13. Shiley Hall Christmas Tree

       Located on the second floor of Shiley Hall is the Shiley School of Engineering’s Christmas tree.

   14. Garaventa Center Christmas Tree

       Stop by the third floor of Franz Hall to see the Garaventa Center’s Christmas tree. It's beautifully decorated in white and gold.

   15. School of Education Christmas Tree

       Head up one floor from the Garaventa Center and the School of Education has a tree sporting red and gold decor. 

   16. Career Center Christmas Tree

       Take the steps or the ramp down to the lower level of Orrico Hall, and see the centerpiece of the Career Center’s entryway—a Christmas tree decorated in Pilot colors.

   17. Mehling Hall Christmas Trees

       Mehling Hall boasts not one, but TWO Christmas trees.

   18. Villa Maria Christmas Tree

       Stop #2 in the West Side Quad is Villa Maria Hall. Although small, Villa Maria Hall’s tree is still bringing all the holiday feels (and wintry smells).

   19. Corrado Hall Christmas Tree

       The final stop in the West Side Quad is Corrado Hall, where we find a Christmas tree topped with a beautiful white and gold angel.

   20. Chiles Center Christmas Tree

       This Christmas tree greets athletes and fans alike in the Chiles Center. The Pilot men's basketball and women's basketball teams will host 9 games between them in the Chiles Center in December. Pilot tickets make great Christmas gifts!

   21. Lund Family Hall Christmas Tree

       The residents of our newest hall, Lund Family Hall, put a traditional spin on their Christmas tree. 

   22. Public Safety Christmas Tree

       The Department of Public Safety is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and they keep the Christmas spirit alive with a tree that's lit around the clock. 

   23. Beauchamp Recreation & Wellness Center Christmas Tree

       The Christmas tree in the Beauchamp Recreation and Wellness Center creates a festive scene at University of Portland's intramural fitness center. 

   24. Schoenfeldt & Fields Halls Christmas Tree

       Schoenfeldt Hall and Fields Hall share a lobby and share a beautiful tree. 

   25. Residence Life Christmas Tree

       There's no place like home for the holidays, but until students get home to their families, the Office of Residence Life brings a homey feel to campus with their tree. 

   26. Printing & Mailing Services Christmas Tree

       If all the packages and cards coming through the printing and mailing center aren't enough of a signal that the holidays are here, this tiny but mighty tree brings the Christmas spirit to life.

   27. Alumni Center Christmas Tree

       In the farthest corner of campus, the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations gets in the holiday spirit with lots of purple-themed decor.
