Geoscience Field Camp in Hells Canyon
In May of 2018, a team of geoscience students from Boise State University ventured to Hells Canyon's Pittsburg Landing for a week-long field camp. This trip gave students hands-on experience in field geology and field mapping by allowing them to hike the surrounding area and interpret the geologic history of Hells Canyon.
