"Eve", by Robert William Davidson, is a five-foot, bronze sculpture of the biblical entity of the same name. Cast by Priessmann Breuer and Co. Foundry in Munich, Germany in 1931, the sculpture was commissioned by the Indiana University Alumni Association of Nurses to be placed the the newly created Ball Gardens. The sculpture was installed on the campus in 1937 where she was nicknamed "Flo" (for Florence Nightingale) and became a staple in graduation traditions for IUPUI nursing students.
