"Portrait of History", by the Zhou Brothers (Shan Zuo and Da Huang), is an eight foot, bronze sculpture completed in 1997 and installed on the IUPUI campus on March 22, 2009. The sculpture was designed "to create a primitive figure that recalls myths and legends" of many cultures and shares the name with a series of four oil paintings previously completed by the artists. The sculpture is on loan to the university from the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
