"Spaces with Iron", by Will Horwitt, is a four and one half foot by seven-foot, cast iron and bronze sculpture created in 1972 and installed on the IUPUI campus in January 2009. The sculpture is described as "drawing attention to the negative spaces created by the sculpture's openings" and its surrounding environment. It is on long-term loan to the university from the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
