"Zephyr", by Steve Wooldridge, is a 13-foot tall, stainless steel sculpture created in 1998 and installed on the IUPUI campus on January 28, 2005. Each of the eight, geometric shapes that make up the sculpture have significant meanings: the core of education, the wheels of progress, a mode of transportation designed for speed, fortitude and determination, the circle of life, ambition, and the scroll of knowledge.
