A historical marker was placed in recognition of Emerson Hall's history on the IUPUI campus.
Emerson Hall was originally named the Medical School Building. It was the first medical classroom building constructed on the IU Medical Center Campus; it was built in 1919 by architect Robert Frost Daggett.
