A historical marker was placed in recognition of Coleman Hall's history on the IUPUI campus.
Originally named the William H. Coleman Hospital for Women, it was the first hospital in Indiana built for gynecology and obstetrics. The facility was and designed by architect Robert Frost Daggett and constructed in 1927.
