      1. Donald Cook '56 Memorial Statue

A statue was erected in 2007 to honor the memory of Colonel Donald Cook '56,  a Vietnam War veteran who died after being held as a POW for three years. In 1980 he was posthumously awarded the U.S. Medal of Honor for "willingly and unselfishly putting the interest of his comrades before that of his own well-being and, eventually, his life."
