        The Art Building contains separate facilities and equipment for each program emphasis within the School of Art and Design. These include: a fully equipped metal foundry; papermaking laboratory; darkrooms; interior design and slide libraries; electric and kick wheels; intaglio, relief, lithography and photo silkscreen printing equipment and facilities; loom; and an art supply store. A Multi-media Interactive Fine Arts Technology laboratory, linked to students and faculty in music, drama, and film, and state-of-the-art CAD (computer assisted design) design/technology laboratory, are also available.
        The Art building houses three galleries: The University Art Gallery, for major regional and national contemporary art exhibitions; the Everett Gee Jackson Gallery, for graduate and select group exhibitions; and the Flor y Canto Gallery, for undergraduate exhibitions.
