The Chemical Sciences building's state-of-the-art laboratories and office space house the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. This department provides a substantial inventory of modern chemical instruments used in support of teaching and research. SDSU labs are safe teaching and research facilities that feature ADA-compliant stations, fully-certified fume hoods and a centralized ventilation system.
