The Science Building was remodeled and expanded by 15,000 square feet in 2010, new labs and equipment were installed. During the remodel of CRC's Science building, the native garden on its east side languished. A dedicated group of student and employee volunteers, worked to clear out debris, build a new fence, install irrigation lines, spread compost and mulch, and finally plant hundreds of water-efficient native plants. Now there are about 25 different species of California native plants in the garden.
MESA (Mathematics Engineering Science Achievement)MESA can be found in SCI-104. MESA enables Underrepresented students to prepare for and graduate from a four-year college or university with a calculus-based degree in areas such as engineering, the sciences, computer science, and mathematics.View additional information
