The Winn Center is named after the Winn family, who contributed the largest private gift in the history of Cosumnes River College. The Winn Center, which opened in fall 2013 was awarded LEED Platinum Certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) in 2014, the nation's highest standard for buildings that are designed, built and operated to meet stringent energy-efficiency and sustainability guidelines. The building houses a community room, general-use classrooms, faculty offices and laboratory and classroom space designed specifically for the construction, architecture, photography and pharmacy technology programs.
