The Automotive Technology building is one of the original six buildings constructed in 1970. The building serves the Automotive Technology/Ford Asset Program. Ford ASSET stands for the Automotive Student Service Educational Training Program. It is a partnership between Ford Motor Company, Ford, Lincoln dealers, and local participating community colleges which began in 1985.
