         Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County, the first food bank in the world to become TRUE Zero Waste certified. The 121,000 square foot warehouse in Irvine, achieved over 90% diversion rate from landfill and incineration by reusing wood pallets, packaging, transport containers and office supplies. Their operations are also equipped for recycling and composting, and the mission and work of the food bank also aligns with aspects of circularity such as social equity and environmental leadership.
