This large structure, built in 1972 on the southwest corner of the campus, houses The Den, student spaces, campus dining facilities (“The Max"), a student lounge, and other dining options, which include Chick-fil-A, To the Max Mexican, and Einstein’s Bagels. This vital campus center was named after Mary Thomas Maxwell, who taught in the Georgia College English department from 1939-1968.
