The Bobcat baseball team competes at John Kurtz Field at the Peeler Athletic Complex. Located minutes from the Georgia College main campus, lights were added in 1996. The field was named in honor of Georgia College Hall of Famer John Kurtz, the legendary coach who put Georgia College baseball on the map. A new 10-foot outfield wall went up for the 2008 season, giving the park a decidedly professional feel. Kurtz Field is a fan-friendly environment allowing fans to enjoy the game from seat-back chairs behind home plate, or a picnic style atmosphere on the third base hill.
