      1. Jim and Karen Fleece Collection

         The Jim and Karen Fleece Collection is a collection of West African art collected in countries such as the Congo, Guinea, and Angola from 1989 to 1999. The art represents a 10-year period of time in what was known as the Congo. The West African side of the African continent was undergoing major change during the Cold War. The sides were drawn between West Africa and Russia.
